I recently saw a post about how amazing the limited edition vanilla cupcake M&Ms are. I started thinking about how I could possible use them in a recipe.
I figured, how perfect would these be in white chocolate chip blondies?!
It turns out…they are amazing. They bring out the flavor of both the Blondie and the white chocolate chips perfectly.
This was also a great recipe to have my little baking sidekick do with me. Sophia loves helping when I bake, and she did a great job with these!
1 tbsp vanilla
12 tbsp butter (softened)
3 /4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 1/4 cups unbleached all purpose flour (heaping-ish)
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 bag vanilla cupcake m&ms
Preheat oven to 385°F
In a stand mixer-
Cream together butter and sugars. Add eggs, and vanilla, mix until light and fluffy.
In a separate bowl combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Wisk.
Add dry ingredients to mixer, mix until just combined. Do not o vermix!
Fold in white chocolate chips with spatula.
Spread into a prepared 9×9 baking dish.
Sprinkle m&ms on top.
Bake for about 45 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.
Tip: I line my baking pan with tin foil, and spray with non stick cooking spray, for easy removal, and cutting.
